Please be sure to read the 'Words' section to make sure you understand everything correctly.
CulturalValues is a political test that attempts to assign percentages on twelve axes. You will be presented with a statement, and then you will answer with your opinion on the statement, from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree, with each answer slightly affecting your scores. At the end of the quiz, your answers will be compared to the maximum possible for each value, thus giving you a percentage. Answer honestly!
Please note that this is one of my first tests, don't expect this to be immensely accurate and don't take your results too seriously!
There are questions in the test.
Please view this section in case you might be unfamiliar with some of the words used in the test.
Important Note: This test uses the words "Nation" and "State" separately. They are NOT SYNONYMOUS HERE.
Nation:
"Nation", here, uses the classical definition of the word and thus refers to a group of people, characterised primarily by common culture, heritage, history, and ethnicity.
State/Country:
A polity/political entity with supreme and legitimate authority over a defined territory as well as a monopoly on violence; a government.
Nationalism:
Nationalism refers to any political movement that want the nation to be congruent with the state. Here it may in also refer to pride or chauvinism (especially over 70%).
Ultranationalism/Chauvinism:
Refers to aggressive patriotism, and often also prejudice, as well as the putting of one's own people and nation over others, especially to serve one's own national interests; in a way national supremacism.
Settler-Colonialism:
Colonialism with the intent of settling a certain piece of land and replacing the native population, if applicable.
Native:
Native refers to the people that are currently living on, and have a historical claim to, a certain territory by virtue of having lived there for hundreds or thousands of years (Examples are most of Asia, Europe, and Africa).
⠀Note: This is not a test for people of settler-colonial states, however if you belong to this group, you may apply this here term to yourself instead. Note however that this may not be entirely accurate.
Ethnicity:
Ethnicity refers to the genetic makeup and common heritage/ancestry as well as other disginguising attributes of a group, most of the time in connection with a shared identity and culture.
⠀Note: This is not a test for people of settler-colonial states, however if you belong to this group, you may apply the term to "race" instead. Note however that this will not be entirely accurate.
Ethnostate:
A state that is ethnically homogeneous and consists of only a single ethnic group.
There are twelve independent axes - Ethnic, Cultural, Preference, Acceptance, Pluralism, External, Progression, Technology, LGBT, Nation, Religion, and Philosophy - and each has two opposing values assigned to them. They are:
In addition to placing you to the twelve axes the quiz also attempts to match you to a fitting ideology or rough term. This is and will always be a work in progress and is much less accurate than the values and axes, so don't take it too seriously, if at all. If you disagree with your assigned label, send us an email at contact@leepicsevrer.eu with your scores, matched label, and suggestion for a better/ more fitting label, and we'll look into adjusting the system. Thanks!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you have any suggestions or constructive criticism, feel free to send it to contact@leepicsevrer.eu. This is a new and potentially controversial test wich I want to improve a lot and try to make accurate.
