| First, you have to join the discord server. There you can request to be whitelisted which will be granted as soon as both you and the admin are online. After being whitelisted you must join the server to be vetted, teleported to the town/country of your choice, and perhaps being shown around/given gifts. If you leave the discord server or say that you don't wish to play anymore you are automatically removed from the whitelist. |
If you wish to become active in the politics of the country you might want to start a political party. Political parties are the main way to become politically active in [TBD], as soon as 3 or more political parties exist, there will be regular elections to vote in a parliament which decides the politics of the country, including its leader and decisions. Political parties can be founded by 3 or more people and must have a banner, name, party program, party HQ, and ideally also a logo. Parties register with the Returning office to make their program and existance known to the country. Right before an election, all parties which wish to participate must submit a list of candidates. |
Past politics there are many ways to add upon the lore of the world and create a fuctioning society that feels real and lived in. Ideologies and religions play an important part in this. Past iterations of this server have brought fourth fictional religions such as the Chickeni faith (based on a holy glitched chicken) and Foxism (based on the then-new foxes). All kinds of events and ideas can become subject of such religions ideologies. Furthermore, these kinds of religions can become influential very quickly; building temples, founding an organisation, attracting & punishing followers, and influencing politics are all interesting avenues of gameplay. Books can also be used to write of other ideas such as political ideologies that could go onto to influencing the discourse in the country. |
Other kinds of organisation also commonly exist to accomplish some kind of goal or keep things in order. One kind of organisation which is of interest to most are companies; they create, trade, and distribute goods and services which people in the town or country may need. On past iterations of the server this included, but was not limited to, a local newspaper which reported on the events of the country, a pie factory, restaurants, hotels, and of course, various stores. Unless there are any regulations set by the government, one is generally just able to build a company where and about whatever one wants. |
In general there is only one country: [TBD]. However there are some situations in which a new country may be created. In general, a new country requires at least 5 active players and admin approval. Another way a country can form is within lore, i. e. through separatism; this type of creating a new country is generally also held to the same restrictions however. After meeting these requirements there are some others which a country must have; namely a flag, name, government, and defined territory. |
